Naadaanubhava is a two-day Carnatic music workshop brought to you by Padma Paadam School of Performing Arts Inc.
It is designed to give students a meaningful and immersive exposure to the rich tradition of Carnatic music. The workshop aims to introduce participants to the history, structure, rhythm (laya), ragas, and important theoretical aspects of Carnatic music, while also allowing them to experience the art through guided singing and practical demonstrations.
This workshop is open to students with no prior background in Carnatic music, as it focuses on presenting the fundamentals in a simple, accessible, and engaging manner. At the same time, students who are already learning Carnatic music will benefit by deepening their understanding of the art form, strengthening conceptual clarity, and gaining a broader perspective of the tradition.
The sessions will be interactive, with the instructor explaining concepts and encouraging students to participate through singing, helping them connect theory with practice and truly experience Carnatic music.
Naadaanubhava is ideal for students who wish to explore, understand, and experience Carnatic music in a structured yet welcoming environment.
